Brereton Rural Team
The multiple parishes of Brereton are apolitical but Liberal Democrat members serve on several parishes with Cllrs Vic Brown and Margaret Gartside on Somerford Booths and Hulme Walfield and Nicolas Castle on Brereton.
At a Cheshire East Level, Liberal Democrats contested the seat of Brereton Rural a single member ward with Brereton resident Cllr Robert Douglas running a strong campaign. Although the Conservative incumbent was not defeated, feedback bodes well for the future.
